0_1_ is a sculptural work from the Human_Traces_ collection.
The piece depicts two abstract human figures constructed through curved mild steel ribs that define the body's volume without revealing identity or anatomical detail. The composition represents a moment of tension and suffering.
One figure stands wounded and withdrawn, its posture closed and defensive, while a second figure kneels in front of it in a gesture resembling offering or prayer. Through this interaction, the work explores the limits between pain, desire and sacrifice.
The sculpture invites the viewer to question how much suffering we are willing to endure or inflict in order to satisfy our impulses, and how much we are capable of refusing when confronted with pain.
